Yamaha motor India has once again launched limited editions of the FZS and Fazer. Previously the company launched midnight edition & White & Blue edition.
In March Yamaha launched the 2012 model FZ series with new graphics & features like: longer and wider pillion seat, longer and stylish grab bar, large and wide rear fender and new meter console.
Yamaha is infusing more life into these models by launching refresh variants and limited editions.
Only the FZS & Fazer are available in the limited avatar which features a new purple and silver dual tone paint job, purple colour Midship muffler & grab bar, Yamaha Logo on Front Fork and limited edition badge. There are no mechanical changes and the FZ series is powered by the same 153cc engine which produces max power of 14PS @ 7500 rpm and 13.6 Nm of torque.
The limited edition FZS is priced at Rs. 73,030 and the Fazer at Rs. 78,130 EX-Showroom (Delhi).
Its good 3 years now and the company must also started work on the next gen FZ series. Bajaj has done its math perfectly right with the new Pulsar and will also launch smaller siblings of the same. Honda is also getting more aggressive in the Indian market. With competition rising, Yamaha will have to launch new and more affordable products especially in the 150cc segment, where the company enjoys a good market share.
