Volkswagen India will be launching the new Jetta in India on the 17th August. The car will get a 2.0 litre TDi diesel engine which can produce 140 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque.
The car will get manual and a DSG gearbox for those who want to drive in more comfort. Prices could be upped as the car is going to be loaded with new features.
The Jetta will take on the new Toyota Corolla Altis which is going to be launched on the 17th June, Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Skoda Laura and the Renault Fluence.
