Mahindra has refreshed the Duro and Roheo recently and launched it with DZ badges which differentiate it from the earlier models. At the launch of the new the Mahindra Two Wheelers R&D Centre the company also showcased the Duro DZ with start–stop technology. When launched the Duro will be India’s first scooter with MicroHybrid technology which is ideal for urban areas.
Mahindra has alreasy launched the XUV5OO and Scorpio with the Start-Stop technology and it could be the first company in India to introduce the technology. The MicroHybrid technology helps conserve fuel when the scooter is idle, such as at a traffic signal, resulting in increased savings.
With sky rocketing petrol prices and the trend seeing only going upwards this tech could be a great boon for daily commuters which could help save a good amount of money.
Mahindra had launched the new Duro DZ at the 2012 Auto expo and has also recently launched the Rodeo DZ. Mahindra Two Wheelers is also set to launch three new motorcycles in this financial year according to the company officials.
The new Mahindra Duro DZ comes loaded with the following features:
