Hyundai will launch the all new Santa Fe SUV in the Indian market in the second half of 2013. Unveiled at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the 2013 Santa Fe will be available in two wheelbases: a shorter wheelbase (4,689 mm) five seater variant and a longer 4,905 mm wheel base. The long wheel base version will be offered with a six or seven seater option, the latter which is most likely to make it in the Indian market.
The third generation Santa Fe will adopt the new ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design language on the outside and inside. Some key design features of the New 2013 Santa Fe:

- Proximity Key
The SUV will also get Hyundai’s innovative Blue Link® connectivity system. Audio options include an available 10-speaker Dimension® audio system with navigation systems which boast an 8-inch touchscreen with rear view camera giving you the latest entertainment and information possibilities.
India will get an updated R-Series 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine which is also available on the current SUV. Power and Torque figures could be slightly increased and will be tuned for a combination of performance and fuel efficiency. The SUV will get updated suspension with independent suspension which means the ride could be better than the outgoing model.
Hyundai is assembling the Santa Fe in India and if the company plans to increase local content, the prices could start from Rs. 20 lakh mark. Hyundai has launched feature rich products in the India market and the Santa Fe to will be loaded with all the latest technology and features.
