Maruti Suzuki currently is in the final stages to resolve the entire problem at the Manesar plant and have also started limited production. But the problems have not stopped the compamy from launching new products in the Indian market to keep its dominance.
Its little less than a year when we reported about the new 800 which will replace the ageing M800 which helped the company build trust and confidence amongst Indians.
Back in June it was clear the new 800 would be badged Alto and will be slotted below the current Alto 800. The car (Codenamed YE3) will share the underpinnings of the existing Alto but will be modified to suit the new design.
The car gets a hexagonal shaped air dam at the front and grille a chorme slit with a large Suzuki badge at the centre. The bonnet gets sweeping lines and bumper gets nicely designed fins which resemble front skirts. The rear draws some resemblance from the Alto sold in Japan.
On the interior end the car will get same seats as the current Alto with integrated headrests and grey coloured dashboard.
Maruti may price the Alto 800 under Rs. 2 lakhs which will be a direct Tata Nano rival.
