A few day s back we reported of the Ford Figo facelift with masked tapes on the front and rear. We now have some clear images of the car caught in Panvel close to Mumbai. The car seems like it is ready to roll out of the showrooms any time soon. (We are just waiting for the official confirmation)
The Figo has reached its mid-life cycle and Ford will launch the Figo with new features. The biggest change in car is the new hexagonal air dam which is in line with Ford’s ‘Kinetic Design’ philosophy. The headlamps a slightly re-profiled with the side lights moving down like the Classic. The grille gets a chrome touch with the Ova badge at the centre.
The rear tail lamps are slightly re-worked with lights moving up-wards which help for better visibility especially at night. The chrome strip on the rear door gives the Figo a slightly up market feel.
The interiors may be tweaked but will not get any major changes. We can expect new features like Key less entry, a new audio system , new design alloy wheels and brighter exterior colour options.
There has been mixed reactions on the new look and many enthusiasts rate the current look higher than the new facelifted Figo.
Ford will have to re-work on the pricing and may not get the space to increase the prices. The company will have to once again launch the hatchback with a aggressive pricing to keep the sales momentum going.
Whats your view on the new Figo?
