Chevrolet may launch the facelifted Spark mini car in the month of November. The Spark sales have been dropping on a monthly basis and does an average of around 2500 units per month. The Beat has been doing decent numbers, thanks to its 3 pot diesel engine which has helped to drive sales.
Chevrolet will launch the Spark facelift with new face and minimal changes to the interior. The most noticeable change to the Spark is the honeycomb grille and is in line with the design theme of other Chevrolet cars.
The bow-tie Chevrolet logo will sit in between the grille as opposed to the top of the grille at present. The higher variants will also get chrome surrounds to the grille and the air dam. The other changes to the front which are apparent are the new curvier front headlamp, reworked air dam, modified fog lamp slots and altered bumper to accommodate all these changes.
Chevrolet is also considering to launch the Spark with an 800cc petrol engine in the future. The Spark has been ageing and need some serious dose of styling and a drop in pricing.
Chevrolet should consider launching the Spark with a diesel engine which could help to drive sales.
