Bajaj Auto will launch the new 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 in India very soon. As per some sources the company will launch the Ninja 650 on the 20th of July and bookings will start from the 15th of July.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is powered by a Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve, parallel twin 649cc engine with Digital fuel injection system. The engine is mated to a 6-Speed gear box which seats on a Twin-pipe perimeter design, high-tensile steel frame.
The new 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 feature list includes
3-Way Adjustable Windscreen
Two Piece seat
Large easy to read tahometre, fuel consumption display, clock and odometer with 2 trip metres
Double-pipe frame and swing arm
Internationally the Kawasaki Ninja 650 is available in three colour options:
- Candy Lime Green
- Metallic Spark Black
- Passion Red
The 2011 model was launched at Rs. 4.57 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi) and we could certainly expect a price revision over the out going model. The new price is expected to be in the range of Rs. 5.80 lakhs higher by Rs. 80,000.
There are no changes to performance figures and the Kawasaki Ninja 650 will produce 72 PS and 66Nm of Torque. The Ninja will give the Hyosung GT 650 some serious fight and only the easy availability of this model will determine its success.
