Iconic British motorcycle maker Triumph has introduced their range in the Indian market.
Triumph Motorcycles, has always set the pace for category winning machines that offer a blend of design, character, desirability and performance combined to create truly distinctive motorcycles. Keeping in mind its commitment to reach out to a global audience, Triumph announced its intent to enter the Indian market in June 2011.
Triumph Motorcycles will bring in seven of its most prominent bikes, encompassing all the four model families – Roadster/Supersports, Adventure/Touring, Classics and Cruisers.
The product range for India will have the parallel-twin, Bonneville, the iconic naked roadsters Speed Triple and Street Triple, the off-roader Tiger 800XC, class-leading supersport bike Daytona 675 and the cruisers Storm and the Rocket III.
True to its brand ethos each of the products entering the Indian market will dedicate itself to delivering a great riding experience through the fusion of a well-balanced, easy to handle chassis and strong, flexible engines. The result will be that of an inspiring range of motorcycles delivering usable performance blended with character.
With the Indian premium motorcycle segment fast gathering pace Triumph too has entered the race.
The 600-800cc bikes will be assembled in India and he higher cc bikes like the Rocket III will be imported.
The company will set-up an ssembly unit in the country in the first quarter of 2012 and motorcycles will go on sale in the Indian market by October this year.
