Toyota India will launch the facelifted Corolla Altis in India soon. The Altis available in petrol and diesel options is currently leading the sales chart in its segment. Toyota launched the Altis diesel in 2010 and it helped the car maker to be on the top spot.
The new facelifted Altis will get a new chrome grille, new head light and tail lamps. On the interiors there is no much changes and will come with the same power plants. Toyota may bring a new in the Corolla with a 1.6 petrol engine option which could help the company to enter the Honda City segment.
The 1.6 petrol engine is on offer in Thailand and is available in both the manual and automatic version.
