Toyota Kirloskar Motor is enjoying a healthy growth in India. Toyota sales grew by 94% when compared to the corresponding period last year and in total 12, 034 units were sold in June 2011.
The Etios just manages to cross the 5,000 sales mark and the just launched Liva managed to get over 1,400 bookings since the time of its launch. The Fortuner which is the segment leader sold 990 units while the Innova sold 4,665 units. The new Corolla Altis managed to clock sales of 629 units.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor registered sales of 12034 units in June 2011 as compared to 6180 units in June 2010. The company sales grew by 94% when compared to the corresponding period last year. Etios sold 5,002 units in June 2011.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor also launched the new Etios Liva on the 27th of June at the national capital. The Liva has already clocked a handsome number of over 1400 bookings since the time of its launch.
Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, TKM said, “The growth in sales is a clear indication of customer’s confidence in Toyota products. We have increased Etios production as a result of which its waiting period has now come down to 15-20 days.
We have also successfully launched the Etios Liva as per plan. With the production back in full swing, we have been able to increase the sales of our products and the product wise sales for the month of June 2011 are: Corolla- 629 units; Innova- 4665 units; Fortuner- 990 units; Etios- 5002 units.”
