Toyota Kirloskar announced its plans of making temporary production adjustments. This decision has been taken in light of the supply difficulties, following the March 11, earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

There will be no impact on TKM’s service and spare parts supply operations. Customer services at the dealership will be conducted as usual.
Mr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director said: “It is important to note that this is a necessary response to a short term supply issue and we intend to restore the normal operations as soon as possible. Our focus is on ensuring optimum stock management to reduce the impact on our customers from the immediate production shortfalls.”
Mr. Sandeep Singh,Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, added “It may be difficult to avoid the inconvenience caused to our customers, and we deeply apologize for the same. We will try to minimise any delivery delays.”
TKM will continue to update all its customers through dealers as well as the website – www.toyotabharat.com.
The production schedule post June 4th will be decided upon in due course.
