Toyota has introduced power steering on base variants of the Etios and the Liva. The company initially did not offer this features on the entry J variants. Toyota has been improving the Etios series on a constant basis. The Japanese car maker had introduced the 2012 model update Etios & Liva at the 2012 auto expo.
The new feature will certainly make the car more appealing especially to those who are looking for a spacious hatch at a lower price point.
Recently Toyota also launched the Etios with beige interiors on the top two variants. (GOW was the first to report this: Check pics here). The beige interiors give the car an upmarket feel and also roomier. Toyota should work a little more on the instrument console and the air vents design which will help the car dashboard look a lot more elegant.
The Etios and Liva have helped Toyota post very positive sales making it the number 5 car maker in India in terms of sales. Toyota has also launched the Liva TRD Sportlivo edition in limited numbers, which comes with sporty graphics and body kits. Toyota also plans the same for limited editions for the Etios and the Fortuner.
