Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched the New Camry in India at a price of Rs 23.8 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The outgoing Camry was a Completely built unit (CBU) and hence attracted very high custom duties which made it pricier than its rivals. The the high price and non availability of diesel motor resulted in prospective buyers turning their backs on the Camry. Though there are no signs of diesel powered Camry, Toyota has improved upon the other weakness ie. Value for money.
Though the price has not come down much and the Camry is still costlier than its rivals but it is larger than its predecessor and offers lots of kit for the money. It comes with the following features:
