Tata motors are likely to hike the prices of its cheapest car Nano.
The price hike will mostly take place from August when the car will be readily available to customers.
The Nano will see a price hike of around Rs. 5,000 on the base model to Rs. 15,000 on the top model. Even with the price hike Nano still remains the cheapest car in the world.
The first 1 lakh cars were price protected. With the Sanand plant on stream Tata will see more numbers of Nano on the road. Tata Motors have promised that they will finish deliveries of the cars by December end for those who were allotted earlier. Well it seems that they may receive the car much before December.
