Skoda’s new sedan is all set to hit Indian roads. The car which will be labelled Rapid as per some sources was caught testing in Aurangabad, the home town for Skoda India.
The cars look similar to the VW Vento and will share the underpinnings like how the Fabia does with Polo. The new Skoda Rapid code names SK:251 will be based on the Vision-D concept shown by Skoda at the 2011 Geneva motor show.
The cars are a bit different from the Vento and gets a nice set of alloys. The taillight will be typical Skoda and expect some more features to differentiate the car for theVento.
The car will get the same engine options and hopefully an automatic too.
