Skoda Indian is seeing a promising 2010 with sales going up every month. SkodaAuto India, announced a sales growth of 30% for the month of May 2010. SkodaAuto India’s total sales for May 2010 stood at 1,381 units against 1,062 units in May 2009.
SkodaAuto India has registered a sales growth of 74% for the period of January to May 2010 as compared to the same period last year. The company sold a total of 8,176 units from January to May 2010 as against 4,695 units for the same period last year. All the Skoda models including Superb, Laura, Octavia and Fabia have been setting benchmark in their respective segments.
Speaking on the achievement Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India said “Our success is a result of SkodaAuto’s commitment towards our customers to provide them with the latest technology, superior built-quality and comprehensive after sales services enhancing the ownership experience.
Currently SkodaIndia has 3 models on sale in India – Skoda Superb, Skoda Laura and Skoda Fabia.
The facelifted Skoda Fabia is expected to be in showrooms very soon and the most awaited Yeti will be launched mid 2010.
