SkodaAuto is launching Skoda Laura RS (Rally Sport) on 31st August in India. RS badge on a Skoda is an acronym for Rally Sport and is driver’s cars. The car was showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo and we expected it to make it on the roads in 2010 itself.
The Laura RS will get the same 1.8 litre engine and may get some more horses also. However we have got news that the car will be essentially have the same performance specs and will get the vRS body kits: which includes broad tyres, spoiler, VRS badges,
Sporty pedals, Sporty leather seats with marked lateral support and an RS emblem stand out in the interior, as do a three-spoke multifunctional leather steering wheel, which is available with the automatic six-speed DSG transmission, xenon headlights with rotary modules, fog lights in the RS design and LED diodes of the daytime running lights and L&K trim features.
We expect the car to be priced at a premium of Rs. 40-50k
