A major milestone in Skoda Auto’s 2018 growth strategy, the Skoda Rapid was first introduced in India in November 2011. This global debut of the Rapid in India reinforced Skoda commitment to the Indian market. It filled the C segment void, with its superior built, comfort, ride quality and exclusive features tailored for the Indian customers. The new compact saloon model was ‘Made in India and Made for India’, which has since become a cornerstone for the Skoda line-up.

In September Skoda launched new variants Ambition Plus and Active plus will now give customers added options to choose from the Rapid model range.
