Renault has launched the Fluence sedan with a small dose of power upgrade. The top of the line Fluence now costs Rs. 15.20 ex-showroom Delhi. The E4 now boasts more power and more features which further add to the comfort and convenience.
The new speced up variant gives the French maker a slight lead in terms of features and price equation compared to its competitors. However the launch is mainly to do with the engine upgrade and not features merely as Renault had slipped a few of them sometime back.
The biggest change is the power which now goes from 105 to 108 and with a healthy torque of 240 Nm. The same 1.5 DCi engine is reworked with the help of a new turbocharger and also power delivery is made more linear with reduced turbo lag.
The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual, while the autobox is retained on the petrol variant only.
On the inside the car gets leather interiors and beige treatment adds to a roomier feel. The E4 variant is infused with the following features
