After launching the Duster with Nav system the French car maker has also introduced the Multimedia NAV system and a unique accessories package on the Scala. The new edition termed as the Scala Travelogue edition includes Multimedia NAV system, rear sunshade, illuminated scuff plate, blinkers on ORVM and muffler cutter aimed at enhancing the travel experiences of sedan lovers across the nation.
With a focus on comfort and connectivity, the Scala Travelogue Edition offers the touch screen multimedia NAV system, which enables drivers to access an extensive list of functions, including updated navigation with voice, DVD player, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, iPodTM connectivity, reverse camera portability and steering mounted controls for a more connected drive.
The Scala Travelogue Edition is available with the Scala RXZ Diesel variant at a price of Rs. 9,78,500/- (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available till May 31, 2013.t
The new edition is aimed to attract tech savy customers and the launch happens to be just a couple of days after Maruti Suzuki launched the new facelifted SX4 which is also available with a GPS enabled navigation system as an optional fitment. Besides the Scala and SX4, Multimedia NAV system is available on the Tata Manza sedan.
Renault has also introduced the Scala CVT X-Tronic transmission which offers higher mileage than the manual variant.
