French carmaker Renault has increased the prices of its small car Pulse by 2%. The Pulse was launched at an introductory price of Rs. 5.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) in only trims a base RxL and top-end RxZ.
The increase in price translates to Rs. 8000-12,000 depending on the variant.
The new price will be effective from March 8, 2012, and the hatchback will be available across 41 dealerships across the country.
The Goan market is yet to get a Renault dealership and the French company is trying it’s hard to set-up one. Most car makers have already set up the dealers in Goa including Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The Frecnch car maker is yet to find a suitable partner to sell its products in Goa.
Besides Pulse, Renault also retails premium sedan Fluence and SUV Koleos in the country. Renault had earlier hiked the prices of its Koleos SUV in December 2011 by Rs 1 lakh.
