The next big launch form the JLR stable is the all new Evoque. Land Rover India has already started excepting the bookings for the same and all details are now live on the Land Rover India website.
The Evoque is going to be offered in 2 body styles, a 3-door and a 5-door version. The 3 door Evoque is going to be powered by a 2.0L petrol engine producing 240 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque. While the Evoque with 5 doors is going to be powered by a 2.2L diesel engine which will produce 190 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque.
A six speed automatic transmission coupled to a full time four wheel drive option is standard on both the engine variants. The new Range Rover Evoque will be available in three variants: Pure, Dynamic and Prestige.
Initially the Evoque will be launched as a CBU with CKD operations to start from 2012.
We can expect a launch in the month of November.
