TVS Radeon motorcycle testing has begun and the bike was caught testing on the streets of Chennai. The bike is most possibly the all new Radeon motorcycle which the company had showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo.
The Radeon will be powered by a 125cc engine capacity mated to a 4 speed gear box. The brand would represent a bold new statement in the executive motorcycle segment. Specifically tailor made for the everyday rider, this bike is feature packed and will provide an exciting riding experience and a modern styling.
The Radeon may share the same 125cc engine which also does the duty on the Flame 125 but will not get the Digital twin spark technology. The Radeon will get new technology and could borrow some from its elder sibling the new Apache.
In terms of features the Radeon will sport:
Premium styling
Single downtube tubular steel frame
Petal-type disc brake
Electric start
The Radoen will be positioned against the Honda Stunner, Bajaj Discover ST and the upcoming Hero MotoCorp Ignitor. The bike is expected to be launched around August-September and will be priced above the Rs. 50,000 mark.
