Muktar Automobiles the dealer for Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles in Goa, has offered a customized Thar SUV in yellow shade to one of their esteem customer.
The custom paint job was carried at the dealer end and is not a standard color option. The Mahindra Thar is currently available in 5 standard color options – Red Rage, Fiery Black, Mist Silver, Rocky Beige, Diamond White.
Thar in Yellow shade looks good and the company should consider offering it as a standard color option. Mahindra should launch more brighter colors like Orange, light Blue and Green along with customization kits which can be fitted at the dealer end.
The Thar in yellow with larger black alloy wheels ( currently it runs on P 235/70 R16 Tubeless Tyres), Front bull bar in stainless steel, Bull bar mounted auxiliary lamps, Winch and Roll cage mounted auxiliary lamps could further accentuate the looks.
The Mahindra Thar is powered by two engine options – 2498 cc CRDe and 2523 cc MDI 3200TC L DI diesel engines. The 2.5 CRDe engie produces max power of 105 hp @ 3800 rpm and torque of 247 Nm @ 1800-2000 rpm while the 2.5 DI engine develops 63 bhp @ 3200 rpm max power and 182.5 Nm @ 1500-1800 rpm of torque.
The Thar comes with a BORGWARNER (Manual Shift) with Low Reduction Gear and auto hub locks. With 200 mm ground clearance, 44° approach angle and 27° departure angle, the Thar makes one of the best off- roaders in India.
In terms of features the Thar is equipped with factory-fitted AC and heater, windshield demister, a new 3-POD instrument cluster, Lockable glove box, Dual tone dashboard and a provision for a 2 DIN audio system.
The Thar is priced at Rs. 8,56,244 for the CRDe variant, Rs. 5,76,483 (2WD) and Rs. 6,29,818 (4WD) ex-showroom Goa.
