Kawasaki will launch the Ninja 300 in the Indian market replacing the Ninja 250. The launch will happen on the 10th of April and bikes have already reached a few dealerships in India.
Thanks to our friends at Powerdrift who have shared images of the new Ninja 300 spotted at a dealership.
The new Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled, fuel injected motor with dual throttle valves. The 300cc develops a max power figure of 39 PS@11000 RPM and has a peak torque output of 27 Nm @ 10,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The dealers have already started accepting bookings and the bike will replace the Ninja 250R and not co-exist alongside as reported earlier.
The Ninja 300 will be priced slightly above the Ninja 250 at Rs. 4 lakhs on-road (official prices to be announced at the time of launch). The Ninja will soon get a new competitor in the form of KTM Duke 390 which is also expected to be launched in the Indian very soon.
Both the bikes will be sold via KTM stores.
