2011 Nissan X-Trail SUV facelift breaks cover in Japan. For the 2011MY, there’s the subtlest of design tweaks, mainly to the front end and the interior, plus a new diesel version and equipment upgrades.

The diesel-powered X-Trail will be available with a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel unit produces 170-horsepower and 360Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, Nissan has introduced a new an “Advanced Hill Descent Control” fitted with a speed-setting function.
