Nissan India plans to hike the prices of the Micra hatch back and the Sunny sedan in January.
According to reports, the company is suffering from the falling rupee and rising yen. The input costs for the company are also rising. For protecting its margins, the company will hike the prices of the Micra and Sunny petrol by 0.5-2% from January 1.
There is some good news as the prices of the diesel variant of the Sunny will not be increased.
Nissan India has launched the new Sunny Diesel in India starting at 7,98,000 (XL) and Rs. 8,78,000 (XV), ex-showroom, New Delhi. Available in two variants, the XL and the XV, the Sunny Diesel offers one of the best in class fuel efficiency and targets the fast growing demand for diesel cars in the Indian market. The Sunny diesel has a fuel efficiency of 21.64 kmpl (ARAI certified).
Nissan is offering benefits upto Rs. 52,000 on the brand new Sunny petrol. The offer mainly includes Rs. 27,000 worth insurance and the remaining Rs 25,000 worth accessories.
