Nissan Motor India presented its popular super-car “Nissan GT-R” to ace Formula car racer Narain Karthikeyan.The keys were presented to Narain Karthikeyan by Nissan Motor India CEO and Managing Director Kiminobu Tokuyama along with Hover Automotive India Vice-President (Operations) Abhijeet Pandit.
Nissan GT-R won the International Car of the Year (ICOTY) awards are one of several annual “car of the year” awards around the world for new automobile models judged to be the best of their generation. This one is presented by the United States magazine Road & Travel Magazine.
The Nissan GT-R is powered by the VR38DETT engine, a 3,799 cc (3.8 L; 231.8 cu in) DOHC V6. Nissan claims the GT-R can reach a top speed of 311 km/h (193 mph) and has a power output of 485 bhp (362 kW).
