Chevrolet’s upcoming Sail hatchback that will replace the Aveo U-VA in the Indian market was caught testing again.
The car seems like it will hit the Indian shores soon as it is being tested with minimal cover. Developed in China by SAIC-GM China, the Sail is a global model specially for the emerging markets.
The car will be powered by the 1.2 litre petrol engine which does the duty on the Beat small car and may get a slight power upgrade.
It is the Diesel which will be the real volume player if Chevrolet does launch it early in India.
Expect aggressive pricing by Chevrolet with a lot of goodies loaded in the car. The Sail sedan could follow in a couple of months. Expect Chevrolet to showcase the Sail along with other models at the upcoming Auto Expo in Delhi.
