Mercedes-AMG is all set to launch its SLS AMG in New Delhi on 15th July, 2010. Mercedes Benz India, had earlier unveiled the luxury grand tourer at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo, is now gearing up to start marketing it in the country. To be imported as a completely built unit from its parent company’s plant in Affalterbach, Germany.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG comes with all aluminium space frame body with Gull wing doors, an AMG 6.3 litre, Front mid V8 engine with a power output of 420 Kw/571 hp, with 650 Nm of torque.
The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 317 km/h (electronically limited). The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a luxury grand tourer automobile developed by Mercedes-Benz AMG to replace the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
