Mercedes-Benz launched its iconic sedan and a global favourite – the All-New S 350L and the S 350 CDI L BlueEfficiency in India.
The new S 350 L is priced at Rs. 82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the new S 350 CDI L BlueEfficiency comes at Rs. 80.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
S 350 L
The overall impression of power, a hallmark of the S-Class, is amply complemented by the V6, 24 valve engine housed in the S 350L. The engine delivers a generous 272 BHP and a massive 350Nm of torque at 4500 RPM.
Comfortably nimble even in crowded city streets, the saloon comes into its own on wide-open roads, easily reaching its pre-set top-speed of 250 Kmph.
S 350 CDI L BlueEFFICIENCY
The S 350 CDI L combines a jaw-dropping performance with responsible regard for the environment, evinced by its ‘BlueEFFICIENCY’ tag – a Mercedes label that consists of a number of performance enhancing measures, ranging from aerodynamic styling to fuel efficiency, without compromising on power.
The saloon’s V6 engine, with 4 valves per cylinder, delivers an impressive 210BHP at 4000 RPM with a torque of 490 Nm in a 1600 – 1800 rpm range, reaching a top speed of 250 Kmph with characteristic ease: more than enough power to handle any journey, whether a sedate amble through city streets or a rousing cross-country rally.
Rear Seat Comfort
The Rear Seat Comfort package equips the S-Class with multi-contour rear seats with a massage function and comfort head restraints. The Rear Seat Memory package for the S-Class includes electrically adjustable outer seats and a folding centre armrest with wood trim, as well as the seat memory function.
Rear comfort further includes the Cool compartment in the rear backrest and folding tables in the rear.
