Mercedes-Benz has launched the new GL Grand Edition in India. The Grand Edition seems like a minor facelift before the German car maker may launch an all new GL-Class SUV.
Mercedes-Benz also launched a Grand Edition M-Class which was sold for more than 8 months before the company launched the all new M-Class at the 2012 Auto Expo.
The new GL Class features completely new headlamps with pronounced looks. The grille too has got updates with three horizontal chrome-bars and more prominent three-pointed star at the centre. The Grand Edition also gets re-styled 20-inch alloy wheels.
On the interior side the package includes black / porcelain and black / maroon leather upholstery, velour floor mats and a ‘Grand Edition’ badge on the centre console.
The GL ‘Grand Edition’ is available in two variants; Executive priced at Rs 60.9 lakh and Luxury edition at Rs 65.5 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
