Mercedes A-Class has started testing the new A-Class in India. From our sources 3 cars have been bought to India: White, Blue and Red. Mercedes-Benz will begin local assembly of the car along with B-Class in Indian once the assembly line at the Chakan plant gets operational in February.
The A-Class will be launched in India in March 2013 and will most likely be offered with a petrol engine only. The new A-Class (codename: W176) was launched globally some months and is built on Mercedes new front-wheel-drive MFA platform.
The car caught in picture is fitted with AMG body kit. The Sport variant will be offered with the AMG kit which features special side-skirts and aerodynamic add-ons to the bumpers and a panoramic sun-roof.
The A-Class will be priced below Rs. 20 lakhs and will be the most affordable Merc in India.
