Maruti Suzuki will launch the facelifted SX4 sedan in the India market. The SX4 refreshed has been spotted in Bangalore which seems ready for launch. Maruti Suzuki could be doing a TVC of the new SX4 in Bangalore.
The SX4 refresh gets minimal change on the front which includes a chrome grille and a revised front bumper which is similar to one unveiled in China at the Guangzhou Auto Show. 10 spoke alloy wheels, ORVMs with integrated side lamps, and revised tail lamps.
No much changes are expected under the hood and the SX4 will be powered the same 1.6 petrol engine and 90Ps 1.3 diesel engine sourced from Fiat. The petrol mill produces 104 PS and 87 PS in CNG mode.
On the inside the SX4 will get new upholstery, revised colors for the dash and door panels, Under seat tray like the one available on the Vista, Garmin GPS navigation system and updated music system.
The SX4 sales have been declining in the last couple of years despite having a diesel engine and CNG option. The sales are now averaging 1000 units per month from a peak of 5000 plus.
The launch is expected to be just around the corner and could happen anytime soon.
