Chowgule Industries will be opening the second NEXA Goa showroom in Goa in Fatorda-Margoa, not near the company’s existing dealership as reported earlier but near the Pepsi Bottling factory.
Under the Nexa brand, the company retails the S-Cross, Baleno premium hatchback and recently launched Ignis premium compact urban hatchback. The company will add a sporty variant of the premium hatchback, Baleno RS in March.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the premium dealerships under the NEXA brand in July 2015 and recently crossed the 200 mark in India making it one of the fastest dealership chains to achieve this milestone.
Sai Service bagged the first Nexa showroom in Goa and will cater to the customers in North Goa. There is also news of a third Nexa showroom to be opened in Goa in North.
Maruti Suzuki plans to expand the number of NEXA outlets to 250 by end of FY 2016-17. By March 2017, when NEXA completes 20 months of its launch, it expects to sell 2,00,000 units.
NEXA, the fastest growing auto retail channel in India, is now present in 121 cities and has already sold over 1,85,000 vehicles since its inception.
