A member of TeamBHP has caught the Maruti Suzuki MPV on camera. Could this be the RIIIcocept which Maruti had shown at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo?
The Spy pic clearly shows it is a Maruti Suzuki product with a ZDI badge, which indicates that it is a diesel car and will be equipped with safety features like ABS and air bags.
The MPV takes cues from Swift interior and the beige colour helps to give a roomy feel. The Steering is a three spoke design with controls, guess it will be for audio volume and chaining the track.
The RIII concept will create a new buzz in the MPV segment, giving some good competition to the Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova. If priced aggressively we could see big numbers and could be a segment leader from day one.
The pictures were taken on a port where are car was being sent to Japan for further testing. The MPV looks production ready and guess it is going through final rounds of testing.
