Maruti Suzuki to start the New Year with the launch of the all new Ignis hatchback on 13th of January. Styled like a micro SUV the Ignis will be sold via NEXA dealers.
The Ignis looks very modern and is targeted towards the millennials and younger generation who are affluent.
Ignis was previewed in Delhi and will be available in petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2 K-Series petrol engine with 85 Ps power and the popular 1.3 DDiS diesel engine in 75 Ps power tune will be available.
Transmission option includes a 5 speed manual and Suzuki will also offer AMT option in both the diesel engines.
Features on offer include gloss black 15 inch alloy rims, Projector headlamps with LED DRLs, rear windscreen wiper, black ORVM with integrated lights and a gloss-black painted roof.The car features 7 inch Smartplay touchscreen system while lower variants get 2-DIN audio system. The infotainment system will come with navigation, smartphone connectivity and Apple CarPlay.
In terms of safety the car will be available with ABS, EBD and dual airbags standard across all variants. ISOFIX child seat anchoring points will also be made available. The car will feature reverse camera and parking sensors.

Currently Goa has only one NEXA dealership in Porvorim North Goa. Chowgules will start operations of the NEXA South Goa this year and will be opened at Fatorda Margao.
