The 2011 edition of the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare will start on the 12th June to 18th June.
The rally starts from Chennai and finishes in Bangalore. The rally includes driving for 5 days and 2000Kms through South India.
Fifty teams, including one from Australia, are taking part in the second edition of the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare in 2010. Team Goa won the 2010 Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare which was headed by Goa’s ace rally driver Amol Satoskar.
The Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare 2011- ULTIMATE – CARS will be run in compliance with the International Sporting Code of the FIA(and its appendices), the FIA Cross-Country Rally regulations (where applicable), the 2009 FMSCI General Prescriptions applicable to 4 Wheeler Rallies, the National Sporting Regulations of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India which comply with the FIA regulations, and these Supplementary Regulations.
Modifications, amendments and/or changes to these Supplementary Regulations will be announced only by numbered and dated bulletins (issued by the Organizer or the Stewards).
