Maruti Suzuki India has launched the Ritz facelift in the Indian market. The company has launched the hatchback with a diesel engine option only to start with considering the market which is more inclined to diesel cars. The car starts at Rs. 5.31 lakhs giving it room under the hot selling Swift.
The facelifted Ritz Diesel is packed with new 52 exciting changes such as new front design, new dual tone interiors, multi-information display on instrument panel, new audio system with USB, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors and body side moulding.
The company has also launched the car in the ZDi variant at Rs 6.23 lakh in the Ritz Diesel with top of the line features such as Alloy Wheels, Dual Front Air Bags and steering audio controls. Ritz was available in the VDi variant only in the previous model. The Ritz is available in 4 four variants. Another important feature is the mileage which has now improved from 21.1 kmpl to 23.2 kmpl.
Maruti may introduce the Ritz in the petrol variant in the near future. The car will get the same K-Series engine with which also powers the Swift.
