We just got you the clear image of the Mahindra Verito facelift yesterday and today we have some more juicy details on the same. We were one of the first to break the news of the launch of the Verito facelift in July.
Let’s have a deeper look at the new features and changes on the Verito.
The refereshed looks certainly gives the Verito a much better appeal and we must say Mahindra has worked very hard on the exteriors this time. Gone are the sharp lines replaced by smooth and curvy features which gives the Verito a more up market feel.
The exterior changes include
- Chrome plated front grille
- New design headlights with a small strip of LED lights at the bottom (eyebrow headlights)
- All new rounded bumper design at the front
- Roof rails which are carried form the earlier car
- Re-designed clear lens tail lamps
- A sleeker looking boot design with lines
- A lip spoiler
The Interior changes include
- Two-tone instrument panel
- New designed grab handles
- Electronic ORVM controls
- Widest rear seat in its segment a USP of the car
- Plusher beige interiors
- 2 DIN music system with CD/MP3/AUX/USB
- New center console that houses Variometric AC with ergonomic controls
Under the hood the car will be powered by the same 1.5 dCi CRDi diesel engine which also does duty on many Nissan and Renualt cars. The Verito will also be offered with a 1.4 petrol engine which and if offered with a company fitted CNG kit will be a hot seller in the NCR and regions where CNG is easily available.
Mahindra has stuck to the Verito Man Jimmy Shergill as the brand ambassador. We are just waiting for the prices to be announced and would like to see Mahindra’s new strategy for the Verito.
