Mahindra Verito CS will be the next big model from the companies stable and is expected to be launched in 2013 which will also see more compact sedans joining the race. Honda will launch the sedan based on the Brio platform, Amaze and we can also expect the Manza compact sedan to make it to India.
Once again thanks to our friends at TeamBHP who have posted new pics of the Verito CS caught testing on the streets of Bangalore. The car was a Pre-launch test vehicle and seemed production ready. It had different head lamps and tail lamps as compared to the current Verito.
The Verito CS will be based on the same Logan platform and will get the similar power trains. We can expect some surprises from Mahindra, who may plonk in the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, mCR100 diesel engine with Micro Hybrid technology which does duty on Quanto compact SUV. The power output could be reduced to 75-80 and may use a single turbo as opposed to a Twin turbo.
