Displayed at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, Verito electric will make use of the Reva technology and will be powered by a 29 KW AC motor with a range of 100 kilometres on a single charge. The car will be offered with Li – Ion Battery and a quick charging feature which could charge the car in just six hours.
. Mahindra is investing about Rs. 150 crore to develop electric versions of its three existing vehicles – Gio, Maxximo and Verito. The company is ready with Gio & Maxximo electric variants and has developed a prototype for the electric Verito. A fleet of 50 electric Maxximos have been made and will be launched only after accessing the response of the newly launched e2o.
By launching more electric models the company is offering a wider choice to customers and also it makes them more appealing.
