Mahindra has officially launched the Thar AC. The new variant gets an air-conditioner with a 150cc compressor (from the Scorpio) along with a heater. Immobiliser is now standard and the A/C is standard only on the CRDi variant. The Thar continues to be offered in a soft top and many Thar fans are anxiously waiting for the hard top. The Thar has been quite a success ever since launched in India again. It is one aspirational vehicle which ever off road enthusiast wishes to own.
On the same occasion the company also announced its new Adventure Season 2 calender.
