Mahindra Mini Xylo was once again caught testing and this time the mini SUV had minimal camouflage. The profile is more visible and gives one a clear idea as to how the Xylo will look. Mahindra has plans to enter the sub four metre and Xylo will be the first attempt.
A very important update on the SUV is the engine which will be a 1.5L mEagle turbo-diesel engine with 3 cylinders. To make the engine appeal to the customers Mahindra has equipped it with a twin-turbocharged and delivers 100hp@3,750rpm and a torque of 240Nm between 1,600-2,800rpm.
The Front facia seems to be carried from the earlier version of the Xylo while the grille seems to be slightly modified to look proportionate. The small wheels definitely spoil the show and we can only hope bigger wheels with good design to make it in the top variant.
The rear lights on the D-pillar are small and give the mini SUV a hatchback look. The mini Xylo will be offered with five seats and 2 jump seats at the rear.
As reported earlier the mini Xylo will be launched around Diwali festive season. Mahindra will add loads of technology to make it look attractive.
