Mahindra launched a new and upgraded variant of its most popular MUV, the 2011 Mahindra Bolero Special Edition. The Bolero Special Edition boasts of its new features and comes in two-tone Java Brown and Mist Silver color combination.
The special edition Bolero comes with bucket seats in rich European leather with stylish black piping, “Bolero” branded” elegant scuff plates at door entrance and state-of-the-art music player with USB port
On the exteriors the new edition comes with Unique two-tone Java Brown & Mist Silver combination, classy body graphics, unique spare wheel cover etched with “Special Edition”.
In terms of safety the new Special Edition Bolero features Super Intelligent Bolero Tele Alert System (BTAS) that warns the owner of theft attempts on his cell phone. You can also lock or unlock the car by sending an SMS if you are far away from the car.
Priced at around Rs. 7.5 lakhs (ex-Showroom, Delhi), the new Bolero is approximately Rs. 80,000 costlier than the current variant on sale. An all new CRDe engine and we would have highly recommended buying the new Limited Edition Bolero, but the current 2523cc DI Turbo diesel engine is outdated and not a wise option considering the alternatives out in the market.
Only 1,000 such Boleros will be made and is offered with a 3 year limited warranty.
