Land rover will launch the all New Range Rover in the Indian market on the 30th of November. The SUV was launched in the International markets a few months back, and the company has advanced the launch for the Indian market.
The new Range Rover re-defines the Luxury SUV segment and provides the comfort luxury of a sedan yet keeping the traditional 4×4 capabilities inherent.
The new model is lighter, spacious, refined and luxurious according to Land Rover, the comfort which is bench marked against the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Bentley Flying Spur. Manufactured in a new aluminum production facility at Land Rover’s Home in Solihull, United Kingdom the SUV will be launched as a CBU in India.
The new Range Rover will be available in India only with the 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo diesel engine and three variants will be available at launch. The base variant Vogue is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.73 crore, (ex-showroom) while the metallic-paint variant Vogue SE will cost Rs. 1.75 crore. The top of the line variant Autobiography with exclusive paint-shade will be priced at around Rs 1.78 crore.
The LR-SDV8 diesel engine develops 339hp of power and 700Nm of Torque. The engine is coupled with a eight-speed automatic transmission.
