Land Rover is all set to launch the new Discovery Sport in India on September 2nd 2015 and have started accepting bookings at all authorised Land Rover retail outlets. The company has so far received more than 200 bookings.
The new Discovery Sport is the next generation of compact SUV from Land Rover and is going to be entry model which replaces the Freelander 2.
The Discovery Sport will be available with a 2.2 Litre Diesel which develops 110 Kw max power and 400 Nm of torque, Four Wheel Drive (4WD) with a Nine-speed transmission option as standard.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport will be available with a 5+2 versatile seating option, 9-Speed Automatic Transmission, Terrain Response, Park Assist, Day Time Running Lamp (DRL), Terrain Response (inc Eco Mode) – 4WD ONLY, Hill Descent Control (HDC) – 4WD ONLY, Efficient Driveline – 4WD ONLY, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Traction Control (ETC), Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), Hill Start Assist, Roll Stability Control (RSC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA), Push Button Start and many more.
