Lamborghini has appointed Autohangar as its dealer in Mumbai to boost its presence in India. The new dealership will be opened in Worli which also has a number of luxury car dealerships.
Lamborghini has taken this step just after luxury car makers like Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin have launched cars in India.
In the long term, Lamborghini, may set up its own National Sales Company (NSC) in India, especially since its parent, the VW Group, has established a strong presence in India and can effectively support the group brands.
Lamborghini will also consider revising its prices and may price it more aggressively to compete with Ferrari. The Italian sports car maker has allocated 8-10 Aventadors which will be priced around Rs. 4 crore.
