Lamborghini launched the Aventador Roadster in India for a whopping price tag of Rs 4.77 crore ex-showroom Delhi. The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is considered the most exciting series production Lamborghini ever built. The coupe version was introduced in summer 2011, and over 1,300 units of the car have already been delivered to customers globally. 2013 also marks the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini, the presentation of Aventador Roadster is a perfect beginning to this year in India.
One of the most powerful and desirable supercars in the world, the Aventador LP 700-4 is has a 6.5 litre 12 cylinder engine with 700PS of raw power and an enormous 690 Nm of torque. This helps the roadster zoom from 0-100 km/h in a mere 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h.
The two-piece roof of the Aventador Roadster is made entirely from carbon fiber using various technologies such as RTM and Forged Composite. These technologies guarantee maximum aesthetic performance and stiffness although each component is extremely light, weighing less than 6 kg. On the inside, the use of leather called Sabbia Nefertem highlights the superb hand-made craftsmanship of the upholstery.
The Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster also features new Dione 20”/21” rims crafted in light forged aluminum, they lower the weight of the vehicle by 10 Kg as compared with the standard set of rims
The new Roadster will go on sale from mid 2013 at Lamborghini dealers nationwide. The presentation of the new Aventador Roadster in India is a clear indication of the growth force of Lamborghini.
The company had launched the Aventador coupe in India in November 2011.
